Monthly Office Hours with Dr. Collins

Once a month, I host a live Zoom consultation space for clinicians, coaches, and helpers who are carrying the deeper cultural questions that don’t fit neatly into CE workshops or case conferences.

These are the questions we think about long after the session ends.
The ones we don’t always feel safe to ask out loud.
The ones that come from caring deeply about culture, justice, faith, and the communities we serve.

You bring the questions you don’t ask anywhere else,
and I bring 30+ years of experience at the intersections of race, faith, trauma, culture, and identity.

Many helpers—especially those serving Black and other communities of color—are holding cultural stories and tensions that don’t fit neatly into “standard” models of care.

Maybe you’ve felt:

• The models are too European
• The language is too pathologizing
• The ethics feel incomplete
• The faith piece is ignored
• The grief is cultural, not just clinical
• The diagnosis doesn’t match the lived experience

Office Hours is a space for that.

Not to fix it.
Not to pathologize it.
But to think about it together, with depth and dignity.
