I have been a professional counselor for over 25 years. More recently, I've heard great counselors speak about having less satisfaction with their workload and the limited income of direct clinical service provision.
I hear them looking for ways to use what they know in order to diversify and increase their revenue, but they feel stuck because they don’t know how to turn that desire into strategy.
I had the same desire and I found something I am passionate about, with remarkable success as an income-generator. With a deep enthusiasm for culturally-responsive care in mental health, I began creating vibrant, relevant, and engaging CE workshops for counselors on topics related to race, faith, culture, and trauma.
It broadened my impact, increased my income, and reduced my clinical hours so I could put more free time back into my life!
